Made from 1095 carbon steel, then hardened and heat treated to hold an edge, but still be easy to sharpen. Comfortable handle cuts down on hand fatigue. Chisels cut a thin shaving of wood from around triggerguard or rear tang recesses without chipping or tearing the stock. Scrapers get into tight recesses, remove just the right amount of wood.
