The typical AR-15 recoil pattern is for the muzzle to lift high and to the right with every shot, and the CMMG SV Compensator designed for the AR-15 is built to counteract that tendency. Inspired by the design of the remarkably effective single-chamber brake on the Russian AK-74, the CMMG SV Brake is machined from steel and fits all standard 1/2-28 TPI muzzle threads.
