Same one-piece, machined aluminum design as our standard Picatinny scope bases, with oversized, 8-40 tpi mounting screws for greater gripping force that’s ideal for heavy, long-range scopes. Requires drilling out and tapping factory receiver holes to accept the larger screws. Mfg: Brownells SPECS: 6061 T6 aluminum, hardcoat anodized, matte black. Includes four steel, 8-40 tpi Torx mounting screws. Requires drilling and tapping of receiver to accept 8-40 tpi screws. Fits Remington 700 long action (LA).
