Quality reloads produced by precision handloaders sometimes rely on specially designed equipment like the Area 419 Funnel Drop Tube, which makes it possible to fill cases in unique situations. Drop tubes are built to fill cases past normal limits used with commonly extruded powders. The longer tube enables powder to fill in empty air pockets in the case more fully, leading to greater charges.
